I have 4 grown children and I am very proud of the adults they have grown into. One of them has a degree in English, and is working in a Radiology office. He also volunteers to teach GED classes to homeless men in Baltimore. One of my daughters has her degree in Early Childhood Education, is a birth doula, grief counselor, nanny, home school teacher, Children's Church worker, and a mother of 2. Another daughter has a heart for foster children. She has 3 of her own and just finished adopting a 2-year-old that was born addicted to cocaine, and is a Children's Church worker. My 3rd daughter is in Baltimore and has been a nanny for 7 years. She started with 4 babies and now she works with 5 boys all under the age of 6. Children have been part of our lives forever. I am one of 10 siblings, and at the age of 7 was called "little mommy" by the younger siblings. While my kids were growing up, they were used to having other children coming to stay with us for long periods of time, because of trouble in their own homes.
