Hello, I have been a full time nanny for the last seven years, 5 of those with the family I currently work for. I love what I do. I will be moving on in the Fall and am now searching for full time hours. I currently attend college and am pursuing my Early Childhood and Teachers Education Associates Transfer Degree, I have one quarter left. I plan to continue on with my education and obtain a bachelor's degree in Children's Studies. In addition to my classes, I have also attended Love and Logic seminars. I am certified in CPR, and a couple years back I was nominated "Nanny of the Year" through a Nanny Agency here on the East-side. Children are my passion. I love teaching/observing them learn and develop. I like to have fun and be silly. I am able to set boundaries and follow through with them. I like to role model good behavior and the children pick up on it. I am active and I love to play outside, even when it is raining, puddle splashing is very fun. I like to take children out to socialize and play with other kids, as well as other activities to learn new experiences. I am well versed with all ages and stages of child development. Aside from my classes and nanny experience I have 150 volunteer hours this year at early learning centers here on the East-side.
