Over the past few years I've had several jobs caring for children. I have experience working at summer preteen youth camps as part of the recreation staff in which I was able to plan activities for children to participate in during free time. I have also worked at Alliance for Women and Children as an after school child care provider at different schools. I have had experience working with homeless teenagers at a non-profit organization in which I was able to help locate resources in the community for teenagers. More recently I have interned at a Psychiatric hospital working with adults, adolescents, and children and have co-facilitated group and individual therapy. I was able to co-facilitate play therapy for the children, most of whom had behavioral issues. I am very comfortable working with children, and have had much practice with my niece and nephew. I am recently graduated from ACU and would like the opportunity to work with children or elderly as I have enjoyed the experiences I've had.
