I currently work for a Head Start Program, have been with the program for 10 years, within my program I have maintained these skills within my classroom for all children in my care: Planning a safe and healthy learning environment; Advancing children's physical and intellectual development; Supporting children's social and emotional development; Building productive relationships with families; Managing an effective program operation; Maintaining a commitment to professionalism; Observing and recording children's behavior; Understanding principles of child development and learning.
My main goal is to establish and maintain a safe, healthy, learning environment at all times, to become someone special in a child's life as they master skills, develop friendships, become more independent, and begin to discover new ways of thinking and understanding themselves and the world around them.
