I am a mother of 2 (one in college and the other high school). I have a degree in elementary education and medical transcription in addition to CNA (certified nursing assistant) experience but have stayed home to raise my children, both of whom have special needs (Type 1 Diabetes and ADHD). Now that my children are nearly grown, I am ready to do some work outside the home. I have done a great deal of volunteer work over the years, including volunteering in the schools, working with a crisis pregnancy center, helping with M. O. P. S. (Mothers of Preschoolers), driving seniors to and from appointments for a senior services agency, working at a local Animal Shelter, and in charge of the Nursery Ministry within my church. I have always had a passion for working with children and am looking forward to doing it on a regular basis again. I own my home, have a clean driving record, own a car and have excellent references.
