I continued this job for the next three summers and continued to watch them when I could during the school year. After college I began to work part-time at a daycare in the toddler room, after my full time job. I just couldn't get enough of being around kids....

I have always had a passion for children. I babysat all through high school and then began my first nanny job the summer of my sophomore year of college. I continued this job for the next three summers and continued to watch them when I could during the school year. After college I began to work part-time at a daycare in the toddler room, after my full time job. I just couldn't get enough of being around kids. I am currently working full time as an waddler room teacher (ages 16 months-28 months) at a daycare and love it. For a year and two months I was one of the lead teachers in the infant room. I love getting to know the kids and the families and feeling like I am a part of something amazing. I get to partake in some of the most wonderful moments in these families' lives and that is such an honor. Even when the kids move out of my room, they still remember me and stop by for hugs and high fives. I love to teach them anything I can and to learn from them as well. They are such little sponges and to watch them makes me feel as though I am doing something important in the world. That I am making an impact.
