I worked at a Daycare for 2 years. I worked in the 4 - 5-year-old room, 3 - 4-year-old room, and for the last year I worked in the infant room. I loved working with all the ages. Infants are amazing all by themselves. It's amazing to be around children and watching them learn. I have been a nanny now for over 7 years now and absolutely love it. Being able to watch a family grow in love, responsibilities, and memories is such an amazing and rewarding feeling. My mother has been a nanny since I was 7. I have been raised around children all my life. I worked in a daycare with ages 6 weeks to 5 years, and as a nanny I started working with children as young as 2 weeks old. Children are awesome beings to be around. They are each unique and fun all in their own little bodies. You can learn a lot from each and every different child. They are what make this world go round! I am CPR / AED and first aid certified. I volunteered at a hospital at the ages of 16 - 18. I worked hand-in-hand with a nurse each day, Monday-Thursday. I am currently in college online studying for my Bachelors of Science in Psychology.

Typical nanny duties are for all of my children I care for, I provide dedicated and compassionate care. This includes:

*Oversight of safety for children
*Clean the kitchen and children's areas as needed with focus on sanitary standards
*Prepare healthy children's meals and snacks
*Organize and clean children's laundry

Emphasis on infant care:
* Create a regular schedule for the infant
* Create a daily log for childcare details
* Maintain sanitary conditions for high usage items, such as changing tables, feeding areas, and bottles

Plans creative and education activities:
* Morning learning circles, teaching daily concepts such as days of the week, shapes, numbers, colors, and letters
* Daily outdoor walks with an educational component, such as tree rubbings, collecting rocks and playing in different textured groundings
