Hi! I am a full-time student, working toward my Master's in Social Work. I am currently living in D.C., (Columbia Heights) and will be here for at least the next year, (until 8/2013). As an undergrad, I cared for two children as a part-time nanny, while also volunteering with local non-profits such as Big Brother/Big Sister and BOAT People SOS as a tutor/mentor to under-privileged youth in New Orleans. Following college, I taught kindergarten in Annandale, VA for 3 years and additionally tutored for two first-graders and a pre-schooler. Last summer, I worked as a full-time nanny for two children, (ages 4 and 6), in Arlington, VA. I am currently interning at a Therapeutic Foster Care Agency in Baltimore. I am CPR and First Aid Certified, have my own vehicle, and possess a clean driving record. I love being active with kids, and instilling a love for learning in them. I am extremely responsible, organized, clean, dependable, nurturing, and enthusiastic about children!
