I have three brothers, two of which are younger and I have helped to raise them throughout the years. I have also watched a number of children in my neighborhood consistently for the past four years. With these kids I have taken them fishing, swimming, built forts, made crafts, had story-time, played house, hide and seek, and other childhood games. Also this past summer, I had the opportunity to be a camp counselor for children aged 7 to 12. My job included working outside, playing non-stop, tucking the kids in and telling them stories to fall asleep, teaching kayaking, swimming, nature classes, drama classes, as well as cleaning the campsite, the kitchen, and cooking some of the meals.
