I have experience working with children. I worked for a family in Nashville, TN for two years from 2006-2008. I worked as a nanny/personal assistant. My duties included taking care of the children, light house work, and running errands. I even have a letter of recommendation from the family. I graduated in 2010 from the University of Tennessee in Martin with a BA in Psychology and a Minor in Spanish. I have worked for a counseling agency as a family counselor for a year. For this company, my duties included: providing family support for families who have children that are at risk. My family support services included: improving parenting skills by teaching age appropriate disciplinary methods; stress management; anger management; grief counseling; improve decision making skills; budgeting, completing paperwork. I also have some experience babysitting occasionally for a police officer while I was attending college full time. I absolutely love children and truly believe that children are a blessing to this world, and that giving them the attention that they require is highly crucial in their developing years.
