I am so excited about beginning a new journey in my life and I hope to become part of a wonderful family in the process. I am currently living in Florida with definite plans to move to the MD/Baltimore area in July/August and I am beginning the search for a great family, one who values an honest and open working relationship and is looking for trusted member of their family.

Currently, I'm taking care of a 6-year-old boy with CP and a 4-year-old girl. I have been with this family for the past 6 years! I started as a full-time nanny and transitioned into part time when the children became old enough for school. I enjoy being a part of the kids' lives so much! We have created many memories together and watching them grow from birth has touched my heart. Part of my duties of taking care of a special needs child is to take him to pick him up from school and take him to his therapy lessons. I have become part of his therapy and work alongside the teachers to continue working on his therapy at home. I work with the children on as much educational learning as I can outside of their daily school instruction.

I also have experience in doing light housekeeping, such as, unloading/loading dishwasher, sweeping the kitchen, preparing small meals, doing the kids laundry, changing their bedding and keeping supplies stocked. I communicate effectively with parents and pinch in whenever I can to make their lives more centered on their children.

Before working with this family I worked with another family taking care of their now 10-year-old. I was with this family since he was 8 months old! I now babysit for them on an occasional basis and have remained a part of their extended family since then. I was a full charge nanny taking care of all the childcare needs as well as light housekeeping.

I love working with kids! They depend on you and look up to you and being a part of their lives so that you help them become who they are as they grow. I love getting down on the floor with them and wrestling and just acting like a kid myself! I look forward to speaking to you further about your childcare needs.
