I have babysat for children ages 5 months to 15 years in a variety of environments; home settings, summer camps, music camps, and school settings. I am graduating in May from Smith College in Northampton, MA with a B. A. in Developmental Psychology and Education. I have teaching experience in both 4th and 1st grade, tutoring experience both one-on-one and in group settings, and will be licensed to teach Elementary grades as of May 2012. I have worked in special education classrooms and have mentored children with both physical and learning disabilities. I have been an ongoing nanny for two families during my time at Smith College, with responsibilities including transporting children to and from school, helping with homework, feeding and house keeping, and overnights. I have traveled with both families on vacation and have provided full-time care for the children on numerous occasions. I love art, music, dramatic play, and exploring the outdoors, all things I believe are valuable to working and interacting with children.
