I have 3 adult children, 4 grandchildren and I am passionate about my job because living in the Washington, DC area, you see so many children taking care of themselves. Growing up too fast and not getting the love and attention they need. My background has been taking care of the neighborhood and church family children. Doing various arts and crafts activities with them and giving them love when needed. When I say love, I mean giving them encouragement when they look down. If they ask for a hug I give it because that may be the only hug they get or have gotten in a while. I also prefer dealing with Seniors in nursing homes or in their homes. After taking care of my mother who passed on from Alzheimer's I know how family members feel when they cannot go to dinner or just be around other family members for taking care of their own. They cannot be left alone and I am very passionate about the elderly too. They need love also.
