My experience:
- I was a kindergarten teacher for one & half years. Details of job include teaching, creating activities, development of all main skills for children, telling stories, taking care the kids, helping with homework, and discipline.
- I took care of 2 girls, 6 months & 2 years old, part time 1-2 days a week for 1 year. Details of the job include going to the playground or museum, play time, changing diapers, feeding the baby, preparing meals, giving baths, washing dishes and keeping the kitchen & kids' room clean.
- I was an Au Pair in San Francisco for 2 years. I had experience with 3 kids, 2 boys & 1 girl (ages 16 months, 5 years and 9 years & now plus more age 2 years). I really had a great time with my host family. Details of the job included taking care of the kids, cooking dinner, preparing lunch boxes, laundry, loading dishes, giving baths, helping them with homework, taking kids to classes, picking up the 3-year-old boy from school by taxi, (2 months before I finished Au Pair program in second year), going to the playground, library, telling stories, getting them dressed, changing diapers, naps, putting them in the bed for bed time, making the bed, playing, cleaning kitchen area, changing bed sheets for 3 kids every week, packing & unpacking all stuff when we were traveled in the USA (almost every month).
I used to be on duty overnight in some special events with all kids.
- I took care of 2 kids, 9 months & 2 years old, full- time for 6 months in South San Francisco as a live in nanny. Details of my job include feeding the baby, giving baths, changing diapers, cooking, keeping the kids' room clean, playing, reading books, going to the park, driving the kids to classes, cleaning kitchen area & emptying garbage.
So, I have experience taking care of kids for more than 5 years and studied about kids & early childhood education for 5 years.
