Hello my name is Silvia. I was born and raised in Spain. I obtained the equivalent of an Associate's Degree in Elementary Education for children up to 5 years old in Madrid in 2003. For the last 8 years I have worked in childhood education. In Madrid I worked for a group specializing in different areas such as education, social services, and cultural programs. For all these activities, I pre-planned and created my own curriculum beforehand, taking into account the skills, talents and abilities of the students. These programs were created by the government of Madrid and implemented by the company I worked for. Since I moved to Chicago in 2009 I have worked as a Spanish teacher in several private schools as well as Montessori Park View and Hamilton school. I am a very energetic, organized, flexible, responsible, and trustworthy person. I like getting to know others and love being around children. I am an outgoing and caring sitter.
