My name is Sierra S., but I go by my middle name, Kailea. I am 19 years old, and I have returned to Forest Grove, Oregon for my sophomore year at Pacific University. As a full time student, I am looking for part-time or occasional babysitting work.

Experience: I grew up with two younger siblings (now 11 and 15); I've volunteered at the pre-school in my hometown in Hawaii, and I have worked at the children's museum in Olympia, WA. With five years of paid childcare experience, I have babysat children between the ages of 9 months and 13 years. I have watched up to three kids at one time, and have experience with twins or multiples. In July of this year I became first aid and CPR certified.

About me: I am going to school for undergraduate degrees in Theatre and Literature, with minors in Creative Writing and Spanish. I plan to go on to earn my master's degree in education and become a teacher and/or school administrator. I am a Gates Millennium Scholar; handpicked by the Bill and Melinda Gates Scholarship Foundation, I was 1 of 1, 000 students chosen for this honor in 2011 (out of 23, 000 applicants in the entire nation). I hold myself to a high standard in everything I do, especially when it comes to caring for someone's child.

I don't smoke, am comfortable with pets, and have my own vehicle with a stellar driving record. I'm warm, patient, active, and reliable. Kids a very important to me. I think they are vital to our future, and deserve to be treated with love and respect.
