Growing up I was always baby-sitting and enjoyed it. I took care of children in high school when parents would go on date nights and also took care of my younger sister. At the age of 16 I volunteered at my church nursery taking care of children from ages 3 months to 3 years old. Once I turned 18 I became a nursery director. I can provide references. I also was a part-time nanny for a couple in my church after I graduated from school. They had one son Stevie who was a year old and a daughter Lulu who was 4 months when I began caring for them. And I can provide references for all these jobs.
I am currently enrolled in school at the Santa Rosa Junior College studying to get my AA in Social and Behavioral Sciences. Once I graduate I would like to transfer and get my Major in Social Work. And I'm really excited because I'm so motivated about becoming a social worker it's something that I'm very passionate about. On my free time I enjoy all kinds of movies, and I know sports very well. I like trying new things whether it's traveling, food, or a fun game. I love to learn. I like being around kids because they can always teach you something new.
