I am a 57-year-old mother of 1 and grandmother of 4. I prefer to work from my home. I worked for one and a half years at an in-home daycare in Chesapeake. My duties included care and instructional learning of alphabets, numbers, days of the weeks, colors, shapes, puzzles, etc. I also assisted with meal time, potty training and physical activities for infants and toddlers. I kept a 2-month-old in my home for 8 months (parents relocated). References available upon request. I love children and enjoy being at home with my grandchildren. I have a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old granddaughter in the home with me most days. There is a 7-year-old grandson and a 5-year-old granddaughter that are here occasionally. I am not currently CPR certified but am willing to get re-certified by the red cross. I am available from 6:30 a.m. until 6pm. If you have toddlers (that don't have special needs) I prefer to supply meals.
