I work with the parents and their wishes for their child. I incorporate my knowledge to help raise a well balanced child from infancy to teen. We will be involved in a multi fun and educational day; Outings to the library, theater, parks, and in the home with art projects, block and fort building. I have a pretend get away in a tent or a tea party for 5. Discipline goes along with the child's age and understanding of their behavior. Redirection is key; understanding the consequences, and time-out is used (1 minute for each year; starting after 2 years of age). Using a special song or tune to alert the child that time is almost up and the activity will be changing prepares them; gives them time to end the current activity and to look forward to the next. I work closely with the parents; to be on the same page. I am here to assist you in anyway. I offer PNO (Parents night out) or weekend care. I love to cook! The most important element of my day is your children...all else is secondary. I am dependable, trustworthy and honest!
