I went to school at Frostburg State University in Maryland where I majored in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. After I graduated, I began working towards my Masters of Education with a concentration in reading. I hope to complete my Master's program within the next two years.

I am currently the lead teacher in the preschool classroom at a Head Start program. Before this, I spent the summer as a nanny for 2-year-old twins in Durham, NC. While here, I focused on preparing the children for preschool and interacting with other children and adults.

I was the Master Kindergarten teacher at an academy in Durham, NC from July 2011-June 2012. I managed my class of 25 children each day while tehacing creative and interactive lessons.

Before moving to Durham, I worked at an academy in Charlotte as a Lead Teacher in the 3 and 4-year-old classroom. I also helped supervise the Transitional Kindergarten students throughout the day.

Immediately after college, I began working at a private daycare facility in Denver, North Carolina. While here, I supervised, planned and taught daily activities in the older two's classroom.
