I have been providing child care aging newborn to 12 years old for 14 years. I worked as a child care giver two summers in a row during High School for a church based group in Boulder. I enjoy playing games and doing crafts with children. I take pleasure in reading stories and playing outside with kids. I have taught Sunday school for more than 10 years and have been in charge of caring for the babies in the nursery for several years at a church I have attended since I was a child. I am majoring in Elementary Education specializing in special needs in hopes of one day becoming a special needs teacher.
I am currently a Nanny for a family with four children ages 15, 10, 7, and 11 months. I get children ready for school in the morning including: brushing hair and teeth, making beds, getting dressed, making lunches and snacks. While the children are in school I am home with the baby. We go on walks, to the park, read, play games, and go to the zoo or aquarium. I believe strongly in keeping children active and in education. I read with all the kids and help them with their homework as well as doing arts and crafts. I also have planned music activities with them.
