I grew up making my spending money babysitting in the community. It started with a few families who sent me to friends and I ended up babysitting several times a weekend all the way through college. Once out of college, I had a son of my own. I have a 4-year-old son and in the process of blending my family adding 3 more to the equation. The oldest 2 are already in school, but 3 of them will be attending McCordsville Elementary in the fall.
In efforts to provide a little more of a buffer for myself, I'd like to take in a child or two. I am willing to work with your schedules and needs if we fit. If attending the same schools, I would be happy to provide before/after school care and getting them on/off the bus with my children. If they are not school aged yet, I will have a 3-year-old daughter at home already and wouldn't mind an additional one or two.
As a working mom now, it frustrates me to pay for childcare when they are not in attendance; so the value you get from me is only paying for the days you need care.
