I have been caring for children for six years. As a young teenager I started babysitting for neighbors and other family friends who would pay me for my services. I was recommended to many other families and continued to babysit all throughout high school. In high school I studied child development for two years. I also volunteered at a local children's center for a year and helped supervise and care for 3-5-year-olds. My Senior year of high school I volunteered in a mentally handicapped classroom and loved every minute of it. It was very rewarding and taught me a lot. I love children and have experience caring for infants, toddlers, and adolescents as well.
