Currently attending college to become an elementary teacher. Have a 4-year-old son and an 8-year-old daughter. I have also taken care of my nieces and nephew at different age levels from 5 years old to 12 years old. My nephew has Asperger's Syndrome, so I have some experience with special needs children. Reading and writing are very important to me and I love to teach children new things that they are interested in. For example, when a child asks me how something works, we become scientists and find out the answer together. I am also currently enrolled in the 40 clock hours for child care and will become CPR certified. I believe children should be educated, treated with respect, and should be encouraged to be themselves.
