I have had many experiences with children of all ages. In my freshmen year of high school I watched a family with 7 children, girls and boys for 6 hours at a time, ages ranging from 3-14. I have watched two little girls, both since they were 2 years of age, and they are currently 4 years old now. I have experienced bottle feeding and changing diapers. I have also cooked and cleaned while on the job. I am strict with enforcing the parents rules, but I also like to make sure the child is happy and has fun with me. Along with just sitting, I have helped out at the local church in my town with the daycare program handling infants, and toddlers up to 4 years of age. As a student at Eastern wanting to become an early childhood educator, I really enjoy children. I usually become attached very fast to all kids I watch, and I have even watched children with disabilities. I am also certified to give CPR, on both infants and children.
