As a teenager in high school, I always loved working with children. Often times, I watched children for families in my church, worked in the nursery, as well as taught Beginners Children's Church. Serving others was an absolute passion that I developed as a teen. I love working with children as well as helping others. College bound in 2003, I attended Pensacola Christian College and majored in Elementary Education. During my senior year, I did my internship at Pensacola Christian Academy in 1st grade. I graduated May 2007. After graduation, I worked for PCC as a Residence Manager. In 2009, I was married and then began my first teaching job at Heritage Baptist Academy of Cordova, TN. I taught 5th/6th grade reading, science, and history. I also was an after-care teacher for K3/K4. I absolutely love working with children. Last summer, my husband and I were looking to relocate from Memphis to Nashville, TN. Because of that decision, I did not teach this past year and became a part-time/full-time caregiver. I took children to/from school, home-schooled children, as well as a sitter for three children. I love working with children and helping others.
