When I was younger, I worked in a daycare center in Wilmington, NC. There was a baby room with several babies and I had to divide my attention among them. Frequently they cried but I handled it. I do not smoke at the current time. I don't invite friends over while working and I have also had my own cleaning service in the past. I have no police record and seeking work in Anderson County, primarily, anything part-time. My SLED license expired last year for the State of SC. I love kids and try to help them with donations of food and clothing. I have met 3 deaf and 1 young man the past months over here in Oconnee county and helping them currently with transportation to find jobs. I have power of attorney over an older woman with seizures who no longer lives with me. I can handle just about any type of emergency situation as I was formerly in the military and learned CPR and First Aid. I am sure I could handle one child. I have raised two of my own and my son is now 21, and daughter, 23. They live nearby. I live alone and I am primarily a student at this time. I work in work-study at the college where I attend 3 classes a week. I have taken care of 5 children (3 of which had other parents) and sat for up to 9 dogs, mixed breed and pedigreed in home and outside for 2 years recently. Three of the children were ages 14 - 19. We did activities like video gaming, music, DVDs, doing research papers on the pc, helping with homework including Math and Algebra, and cleaning the home.
