I was a toddler teacher at a child care facility for a year. I've been a nanny for two girls from 2006 through 2008. Before that, I was a nanny for two boys for a year. Both the families I was a nanny for still use me for childcare needs.

I started out working with children when I worked for almost two years at a large recreation facility in Hawaii. There, I took care of kids after school and during camps. I've also been babysitting for family and friends since I was 10 years old.

I am passionate about children, because I love people in general. People are most impressionable and "moldable" as children. This can be a scary though, but I believe with a lot of love and encouragement that anyone who takes the time can help a child live a happy and meaningful life. I also love being an asset to a family in need of a few extra hands. It's a very rewarding job.
