I work in a school for children with special needs. I love my work and I especially love being able to babysit for families with both typically developing children and children with special needs. Children have been drawn to me my entire life, and I began babysitting at age 12. My mother was a pediatric home nurse for many years and would often bring me with her on the nights that she cared for children. I believe that's where my interest in working with children began.

I am definitely more of an interactive sitter. I prefer to be involved playing with the kids rather than just sitting back while they play video games or watch TV.
