I am a mother to four children, ages, 12, 10, 8, and a just turned 5-year-old! The three older children are in school all day and I thought it might be fun for my youngest to have a playmate or two as she misses her siblings. She is still in preschool this year, and will attend 1/2 day Kindergarten next year (2012-2013).

I am qualified to watch children from 6 weeks to 6 years. I can provide a healthy lunch and snacks as well as lots of fun time and play. I like to keep a schedule or routine and always include a story time and where child appropriate, a nap! I am CPR certified as well as qualified to tend to children with diabetes. My daughter, was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes two years ago and is on an insulin pump today and doing wonderfully!


Previously, I was a middle school Language Arts teacher, and substitute taught for many years in both public and Catholic schools as well. Eventually I decided to stay home when our family began growing. At the same time, I thought this might be a good opportunity financially to make some strides as we have a large family ourselves and private tuition to pay!

I love to read with the kids and have little plays, dress ups, make forts, play with homemade play-dough, and weather permitting, we always try to go outside. We live in a cul-de-sac, and we back up to a park from our backyard. The park is great fun and always a reward when all toys are put back in their happy homes!

I would like to watch one, two or three children full or part-time in my home for at least the next couple of years. Email me at your earliest convenience as I have no children at all at the moment (except my own little one), and I would like to get started as early as possible!
