I have been caring for children of every age for over 25 years. I started with my younger cousins, babysitting as a teenager & moved on to my nephew & friends' children. I have been a paid child care provider for many years. I know that your child/children are the most important things in your life & I take that seriously. I try to be the best support for you to ensure the happiness, safety & well-being of your most treasured blessing.
I'm 39. I have my own car. I'm an animal lover. I love my job, it's nice to see a child learning, growing & becoming a little person with their own characteristics & personality.
I'm a mature, responsible, reliable adult who will focus my full attention on your child. I can be an authority figure but also play, teach & have fun with them.
I'm unable to work before 10 a.m. other than that, my schedule is very flexible.
I finished a job that I worked for the last year. I started when V was 9 months old until she was 22 months old. Me & V played, sang, danced, learned, I fed her lunch, changed diapers, etc. V advanced so much in her motor skills & vocabulary while I was with her. V knew numbers up to 10 & we were on letters, shapes & colors. V didn't like to sit still so reading was a challenge. She liked to be outside, my nature girl, she walked ME to the park. I worked 5 days a week at least 3 hours a day, some weekends & nights when needed. I was so happy to be a part of her learning & growing process. V was a joy.
I did get a part time nanny job before my job ended. I currently work with a 26-month-old boy, D. We do the same things I did in my prior job. D knows numbers, alphabet, colors, shapes, etc. We still work on those things & making sentences, pronunciation, etc. He loves to be read to. I rock him to sleep for his nap. D enjoys playing with his cars & being outside. D has more rules & discipline than V which makes things easier. D is definitley at the age of pushing limits & seeing how much he can get away with. That stubborness & curiosity is part of every child growing up & wanting to be independent. He's a wonderful, happy little boy. I work Sunday & 1 full day a week, Wednesdsay, which is flexible. D has a full time nanny, which I cover for 1 weekday.
Prior to the job with V, I was caring for a newborn while his mother continued her routine of taking her 2-year-old daughter to "mommy and me" classes.
There is not enough room to put my extended experience here. Feel free to ask me any questions. Thank you.
