My childcare experience started when I was 11 years old. At the time, I lived in Massachusetts, and babysat for a family with 2 little girls. I was a nanny for another family with a baby girl and an older boy. I've done everything from changing diapers and bottle feeding to playing hide and seek, making dinner, and helping with homework. I've also carpooled kids around. I've cared for pets like dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and fishes. I love kids and I have a lot of patience with them. I enjoy watching/helping them learn new things and have new experiences. I've cared for kids between the ages of 3 months and 12 years old and watched up to 4 kids at a time. I was a caregiver in an after school program at a middle school. I watched over 15-20 students with another caregiver, until the parents picked them up. We offered crafts, time in the gym and outside and "traveled to a different state" each week, and experienced their foods and did crafts, accordingly. It was rewarding to watch over the kids and have someone look up to me as a role model and friend.
