In taking care of me as a toddler, my grandmother placed and ad in the local paper saying she would like another child my age to come keep me company during the day. By the time I was 13, she had six kids and I was her assistant. From that first ad my grandma placed, bloomed a life long interest in early childhood education and friendships. I enjoyed the 'day care' job I had but always felt like there was some overcrowding and not enough personalized care. As a nanny to twin boys I found a lot more depth of comfort and a sense of familiarity in the home setting. That is where I've found myself at peace with the love and care I share with each of my three children, now. You can never have too many friends. A child can never have too much love. I can never help but wanting to be of service and share that with others.
