I love working with children! I grew up babysitting my smaller siblings and the neighbor's kids. I have at least 9 years of experience doing just that. In high school I took child development classes and worked in the daycare center at my high school watching babies from 2 months old to 1 year. I worked for a daycare center after I graduated watching children from a couple weeks old to 6 years. I nannied for a boy in Oregon who was autistic so I do know a little bit about it, but I am always interested in learning more. Requirements for that job included cleaning, cooking, laundry, running errands, drop off/pickups, and grocery shopping. So I am completely comfortable doing extra things around the house. I am a very clean and organized person. I love being outside and playing games with kids, going on picnics, playing at the park, going to the zoo or the aquarium. I love reading, drawing, and painting. I can be very crafty when I watch kids that show an interest.
