I was a babysitter all through high school. My experience ranged from children who were less than a year old all the way up to 10-years0old. I was able to experience a wide range of ages because I babysat the same children for several years. During college, I babysat as well as watched pets during the summertime in Reno, NV. I also had more recent and local experience with occasional late night babysitting for a family in Alexandria, VA.

I am excellent with children because I have a high energy level and am ready to engage in activities rather than sit in front of the TV. I strongly believe that television and video games should be minimal to none. Babysitting should be a fun experience that is active and different every time. I am CPR certified and am an experienced swimmer (swam for over 8 years).

I come from a family with strong values in which education, exercise, hard work, and honesty were constantly emphasized. I expect the same of the children I babysit and want to ensure I evoke the same good values any parent would want their child to exemplify.

A little about me: I was a student at American University who graduated in 2011. I work for a Senator as a Legislative Correspondent on Capitol Hill. I live near the Palisades/Glover Park/Georgetown Area with three roommates a dog and a cat, so it is quite the full house. I grew up in Reno, NV, where outdoor sports and recreation are abundant. I was a golfer, runner, and swimmer growing up and still am to this day.
