Hi!
My name is Savannah! I am very experienced and would love a chance to help you and your family out! Here's a little about myself just so you have an idea of who I am and what I'm about!
I attended Winona State University for 3 years, majoring in Elementary Education and minoring in Psychology, until I moved to Seattle to be near family for a little bit. I lived in Savage, MN for 11 years before moving here in July! I will be moving back to the Minneapolis area in the beginning of March and am excited to be getting back home! I am the oldest of three; my sister is 16 and my brother is 11. I have a very close relationship with my family so spending time with them is one of my favorite things to do when I have free time. Some of my personal hobbies include: Reading, learning and trying new things, spending time with friends and family, doing crafts, watching movies, being outdoors, cooking, and traveling! One thing I pride myself on is my patience with children and even adults! I have a very positive outlook on life and am a very "glass half-full" type person. I am CPR and American Red Cross certified and take my job very seriously. I have a great amount of respect for working parents and love that nannying allows me to help families out.
I currently work as a nanny for two families in Seattle. One in the morning and one in the afternoon, both 5 days a week. My duties as their nanny include: (Morning) Getting children, 8 and 11, up and ready for school, making breakfast, picking up kids rooms, making beds, laundry, dishes, light housework, and occasional weekend "sits". (Afternoon) Making sure children, 9 and 12, get homework done, make snacks, drive to after school activities, and occasional weekend "sits".
My rate is currently $10-$20 an hour, based on my experience, however, I have no problem negotiating a rate that you feel is appropriate. I pay extreme attention to the children and make sure that their needs are met 100%. Also, I do provide light housework and like to go out of my way to do what I can to help out.
If there is anything specific you want to know or if you have any general questions, please feel free to ask! I would love a chance to talk to you and look forward to helping your family out!
