I participated and received credits hours for completing Early Childhood Education classes which involved many hours spent on site at Schmidt Elementary School in Columbus, IN. I worked with the pre-k class of Mrs. Greenly. I was certified at that time in Child CPR/ Basic First Aid. This is something that I find important and I am very willing and available to again become certified. I am also the oldest of 6 children and was responsible for much of the care of my younger brothers and sisters. My past roommates had a daughter in the time we lived together. She was and is still very dear to me and I spent quite a bit of time around her and often watched her while her parents were out. She brought a lot of joy and happiness. My sisters both have two children. One having multiples herself. The other a boy and younger girl. I have cared for my nieces and nephews on a few occasions (we do not live close) even caring for my twin nephews while infants.
