I am 23-years-old at James Madison University. I am currently attending grad school for elementary education. I have been babysitting since the seventh grade, and began as a mother's helper in sixth grade. I have experience working with children from infants up to middle school. I have volunteered at a woman's shelter for five years providing care for the children who live there. I also have been involved in programs such as tutoring for elementary school children, as well as a mentoring program for elementary school children. Four spring breaks ago I traveled to Jamaica to work with elementary level children in schools and it was an amazing experience! I absolutely love working with kids of all ages and I am studying to become a teacher for elementary education. If you are looking for a part-time sitter, I can provide you with my weekly class schedule. I am available on weekends at any time. I also have lots of experience providing over-night and weekly child care during vacations or while parents are out of town.
