I understand that my resume focuses more on my future (and current) legal career, but I think that gives you a good idea of my responsibility and solid work ethic.

I have been babysitting for 10 years now. It all started when I was little and my mom had an in-home daycare. I loved helping her with the "little kids" as I called them (even though I was still a "little kid" myself). It then turned into me watching the little girls down the street from my parents house one day a week when I was 11. This slowly evolved into four days a week, every summer until I was 17. More recently, during the last two summers, I have babysit four kids for two weeks straight while their parents were out of town. This is just a small amount of the babysitting I have done over the past 10 years and I have numerous references available for review upon request. I was also a lifeguard and swim teacher while I was in high school so I also have first aid training. Furthermore, I have experience with children of all ages and twins.

As for my personal life, I graduate from college in December 2010 and I have a semester off before starting law school (possibly even a year) so I am looking for a few babysitting or nanny jobs in addition to my paralegal job. Also, I would like to be able to babysit/nanny throughout law school rather than working as a paralegal. I will be attending law school part-time only at night, so I will have a lot of flexibility for 3-4 days per week of babysitting. Overall, I just love kids and plan on having children within the next three years. I find it extremely rewarding to work with children and watch them grow.

I have not paid for a background check at this point because I am fairly new to Care. com, however, I have no problem doing so upon request.
