Caring for children has been a part of my life for more than 8+ years from infants to teens. I was a 1st and 2nd grade Sunday school teacher for 4 years where I incorporated fun and creative activities to help the kiddos grasp life principles. I was also a summer nanny for two girls ages 13 and 7, taking them swimming, reading, driving them to activities and teaching them to cook simple meals. I most recently was a full daytime nanny for a 2-year-old boy preparing healthy meals, teaching him bilingual and cognitive skills, shapes and colors, imaginative and art activities, setting play dates and giving mom tips on how to correct misbehavior and encourage him to listen consistently. Currently, I am a nanny 2 days a week for a lovely 14-month-old girl, whose mommy found me here on Care.com!
