I have been a mothers helper/babysitter since I was 12 years old. Through the Berkeley Youthworks program I have been hired at the Child Education Center and worked there for two summers. During which I worked in the Infant Room with babies 12 weeks-18 months, and the Preschool Room with children ages 3-5. Before being officially employed, I volunteered three summers for the El Cerrito Community Center and worked in their provided summer camps with children ages 12 months-7 years. I also participated in a volunteer program through MOCHA (Museum of Children's Arts) where I worked with children of ages 6-9, making arts and crafts and explored other creative outlets. I feel comfortable with caring for infants, siblings, twins and future debaters. I have some experience with autistic children as well.
