For the past 6 years, I have taught at the middle school level at an alternative school which serves at- risk students. Since the classroom was self- contained, I have taught a variety of different subjects. Additionally, I have also worked at Huntington Learning Center for a year, tutoring students that were not at grade level in their academics.
Seeing the unfortunate situations many of my students are being raised in, I decided to further my education and entered into a Master's program for professional counseling/ school counseling. This next year, I will be completing a year long internship where I will shadow a counselor and further my experience in the field.
I am looking for a part time job that will still utilize my skills and passion for children.
