I have been a teacher for eight years (kindergarten to fourth grade), and have also worked as a camp counselor (ages 7 to 18) for four summers. I have actively been involved in children's ministries since I was 16 years old. It may be helpful for you to also know that I was a nanny for three children over the course of one year in 2003. They are very pleased with my work. Their words were that they enjoyed the "climate" I helped them create at home. My education and time have been exclusively focused on children. I enjoy not just taking care of children, but also helping them learn good thinking skills starting at the earliest age. I am currently an afternoon nanny. I am looking to nanny a baby only for the early hours of 8:00 a.m. -1:30 p.m. Monday-Friday beginning near the start of the 2012-2013 school year, but could start earlier if needed. I could possibly watch a baby all day if you are comfortable with my picking up two other children each afternoon at 2:30 p.m. and bringing them to their house until 5:30 p.m.each day. I am also interested and open to maybe starting a new full-time nanny position and totally working for one new family if the pay is enough to support my needs. For example, I am open to working for you and only you during the day if my expenses are still covered. I have a very well-paying position that I enjoy right now and don't wish to quit unless I have a better, new option. I have tons of references if you want them and a GREAT track record!
