I began caring for children at the age of 12. After participating in a child care course at Children's Hospital in the central valley, I began working in the nursery at the church I attended. I continued to work in the nursery at church through the end of my undergraduate career. I am currently a graduate student at SFSU and I miss caring for children.

In addition to working in the nursery, I also spent two summers working at a day camp for children with working parents. At day camp, we played games, did crafts, and went on local field trips to locations such as the Yosemite Rail Road and Island Water Park. One of my favorite activities to do with children are crafts and other discovery activities, such as water tables or box cars ('building' cars out of a cardboard box). I have always worked as a babysitter for friends, family, neighbors, or customers at my summer job.
