I have 7 nieces and nephews ranging from ages 3 months to 12 years old. I am very close with all of them and have been involved in all of their lives from day one. I have a lot of experience in caring for children just by being every one's favorite babysitter! I also babysit for a stay at home mom on the occasional night or weekend when she needs some "me" time! Her sweet little girl just turned 4 months old.
I have also coached cheer leading since 2007 and have coached pop Warner, middle school and I currently coach high school cheer leading at a private Christian school near Atlanta.
Live out Nanny: Summer 2007- Summer 2009
When I first started with this family they had a 4-year-old girl. Then they added a sweet baby boy to their family. I cared for both children while their parents were at work. I loved caring for these children and quickly loved this family like they were my own! As their nanny I was responsible for getting Emma ready for school, taking her to school, picking her up, and getting her to other activities. While Emma was at school I cared for baby Grant and would occasionally do things around the house like run the dish washer, vacuum, or cook dinner if the mom had to work late. (However, I was not required to do those things) In the summers I had both of the kids all day. Emma and I enjoyed playing dress up, doing hair, baking, playing the piano, swimming, riding bikes, reading, playing school, working on cheer leading, tumbling, and more. Grant enjoyed watching Emma play, looking at books, learning colors and animals, playing ball, laughing at everything his big sister did and coming along on our adventures. I was also responsible for activities, meals and their overall well being! I stopped nannying for them when my husband and I moved to Marietta, GA so he could attend Chiropractic College.
I am currently finishing my Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and will graduate this December 2012. I will be graduating suma cum laude, sigma beta delta, and as the Salutatorian.
