I am the second oldest of 6 children so I have been around children my whole life. I used to have to babysit my younger siblings so I have experience changing diapers, etc. I used to babysit for our family friend and they have 3 boys. I also was a sitter for a 5-year-old girl and her 6-year-old brother. I took them swimming at the YMCA and also enjoyed playing outside and inside with them as well. I was a lifeguard and swim instructor for four years and have taught swim lessons to children ages 8 months all the way up to high school. I have also taught private lessons as well. I am going to school right now to pursue my degree in Elementary Education with a special education certificate and hopefully work in a preschool setting. I will graduate in December of 2011 and student teach in Spring of 2012. I am very passionate when it comes to working with kids, especially the young ones. I have loved being around kids my whole life.
