My name is Sarah and I am 18 years old. I am energetic and outgoing and I love working with kids. I have taught Sunday School for four years, worked with a family through Big Brothers Big Sisters for two years, and have babysat for many families over the years. I have been trained in first aid and I always have a small first aid kit with me. I am fluent in both English and Spanish and I know basic ASL and Italian. I do have one tattoo on my wrist that says "Courage," and if this is a problem for you, it can be covered up easily.
I am currently a Freshman at the University of North Texas where I am a Theatre/Spanish double major. I am active in my church and active politically, but I will never impose my beliefs or views on your family or children. I graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA and an International Baccalaureate Diploma. Growing up, I was involved-- at some point-- in just about every sport and artistic pursuit imaginable, and I will be supportive of your children in whatever they pursue. I have experience in many areas, but I am most recently (and currently) very involved with theatre arts.
I also have experience in tutoring and will be willing to work with your child on everything from learning colors and learning to read to test preparation and algebra homework. I also teach Spanish. To help you, the parent, I should note that I am also willing/able to cook and clean.
In babysitting, I have learned to love most any kind of activity. I am experienced in the art of blanket fort building as well as the adventures of the great outdoors. I can play school and house with the best of them and I am an excellent Candy Land player. I have been known to throw grand tea parties and create epic Light Saber battles. No matter what the challenge, I promise to rise to it.
