My experience babysitting is very admirable. My first babysitting job was when I was 17 years old and I cared for three girls - ages 5, 9, and 11. I was the sitter for the summer and activities included taking the girls to the pool, playing with the girls, making sure chores and homework was completed, preparing meals and snacks, and picking the girls up from camp. For about a year now I have been taking care of the kids for two families. One family the youngest daughter has just turned 1-year-old and the oldest daughter is now 3 years old. The other family has 3 kids - 2 girls and 1 boy. The ages of the girls are 3 and 6, and the boy is 7 years old. While babysitting these families the activities and services that I provided for the kids include:
-Changing diapers.
-Putting a car seat in the car.
-Bathing/ Brushing teeth.
-Dressing.
-Making sure they remained on a schedule with eating as well as sleeping.
-Taking them to and from school.
-Taking them to do extracurricular activities.

Activities that I planned with the approval of the parents include:
-Going to the zoo.
-Going to the pumpkin patch/ carving pumpkins.
-Baking.
-Going to see a magic show.
-Preparing and enjoying a picnic at the park.
-Going to the park.
-Going to the beach.

Not only have I worked with children in the family/home setting, but I was also a gymnastics instructor at Young Gymnast Inc. I taught classes from mom-and-tot, teenage girls and boys, to special needs children. With my gymnastics background I was able to teach the fundamentals of gymnastics, while incorporating discipline, and monitoring the safety of the gymnast.

Thus, I have had many of years working with children - from various ages, gender, health, race, and abilities. I thoroughly enjoy watching kids learn and grow as they go through different stages of their life! The need and care for a child is absolutely important for ones development and I am just the person to help out.
