I have worked on and off as a nanny for nearly 10 years. I grew up babysitting my younger cousins, to the neighborhood children, to working my way around Grand Rapids. The children I have cared for have ranged from ages 6 months to middle school, 4 children at the most at one time. I have cared for children with food allergies and aided in potty training. I come from an artistic family (drawing, music, theater), so I try to incorporate those elements into my childcare experiences. I enjoy being active and responsive with the children I watch, rather than plopping them down in front of a TV and letting a screen keep their attention all day. I have a lighthearted and witty personality that has gone over well with children, but still know when it's time for fun and time for responsibilities.
