Hello! I am a 22-year-old graduate student at West Chester University for my MSW. I have over 7 years experience in the field, with various paid and volunteer work experience. Since the age of 14 I have been volunteering with small children with special needs, and acted as a part-time babysitter throughout my high school career. I also have previous work experience as a teacher at St. Francis Early Learning Center to little ones between the ages of 1 and 3, and as an aide in the infant room as well ages 4 to 11 months. In addition, as a social work major, I have had various internships with children and adolescents, with my most recent field placement at Bethany Children's Home. Also, within the last month I have updated my PA Child Abuse History, Criminal Background Check and Fingerprinting, and I am CPR and First Aid certified, as well as having a clean driving record. The trainings, internships and experience I have received has made me fully aware of the responsibility involved in childcare while also providing me with a great deal of confidence in my abilities to care for children belonging to all age groups.
